About Chris

Christopher began his studies of the human body as a biology major at Norwich University, Military College of Vermont, where he also participated in a significant amount of mountaineering and cold weather rescue work. Following, after having close, personal exposure to Chinese medicine, he decided to take up its studies at the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in Chicago.

For the next 4 years Christopher studied Traditional Chinese Medicine and graduated with experience treating a large patient diversity, including clinical experience at Project Vida, an HIV clinic for minorities.

After graduation Christopher became State Licensed and Nationally Board Certified in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine, in which he then began a private Chinese medical practice in Southampton, NY in 2010. During time spent in private practice in NY, he also apprenticed with Mikal Gohring, L.Ac., a practitioner of 30 years and student of Jeffrey Yuen.

Currently, Christopher is pleased to be the Chinese Medical practitioner in Huntington, NY where he is continuing his Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine Clinical practice. He uses Acupuncture, Herbal Medicine, Cupping, Moxibustion, Massage, Reiki and Yogic and Meditation Techniques to treat people for a wide variety of ailments as well as general health, well-being and balancing.

 In addition, Christopher recently completed the Kundalini Yoga teacher training program at the Radiance Yoga Center in Alexandria under the guidance of lead trainer GuruDas Kaur.

Christopher takes on this role of a practitioner not only as a career but also as a life style, diligently practicing Tai Chi-chuan, Yoga, and Meditation daily as to remain balanced and healthy in order to be an effective practitioner.
